Research

The enable -cluster provides the sustainable framework for science collaboration across a network of 39 partners from academia and industry in 22 projects.

The cluster builds on unique research capacities and forms unusual alliances on the `cross-roads of sciences exploreing the innovation potential of these alliances for consumers' dietary needs along the specific stages of life.

Areas of interest:

Work Package 1: Redefine the diet-health relationship - new approaches and methodologies for a better characterization of consumers concerning their food preferences, their nutritional behavior and their metabolic conditions.

Work Package 2: Redesign food to improve health value - opportunities and limits aims to develop healthier products and will show that a healthy way of life also is possible when consuming convenience products.

Work Package 3: reshape nutrition communication - new tools and services to use opportunities of new information- and communication technology to specifically promote healthy products and nutrition.
