Junior Research Group "Personalized Nutrition & eHealth” (PeNut)

Since 1st December 2017, the enable Junior Research Group "Personalized Nutrition & eHealth" (PeNut) is funded as part of the funding initiative Competence Cluster Nutrition Research. The grant is provided by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for the next five years.

The aim of the Junior Research Group is to identify and to investigate parameters for personalized nutrition. There is a main focus on personalized nutrition in the field of weight management, which is being examined as part of a lifestyle intervention study (LION study). In addition, a survey (survey) on personalized nutrition as well as systematic reviews (literature analysis) on gene-lifestyle interactions will be conducted.
